You may be wondering what our ministry is all about. Who we are, our mission and vision, what happens at events, our community culture, how finances are used, where to park, and what that egg-shaped logo really means.

Bread We Break started in 2012 as a ministry of The Meeting Place, and is dedicated to providing a place of worship for Christians from all denominations. We have grown to connect 100+ churches, regularly represented by 500-700 young adults from Winnipeg and across Manitoba.

Our team plans events on a bimonthly basis, with the exception of a summer break. There are no seat reservations, however those who wish not to be photographed can find seating on the balcony where there is no photography. Flip through the set lists from previous events, and check out when the next event is!

People of all ages are welcome to join us, however our events are geared towards the young adult community, loosely defined as people ages 18-30. You can expect a vibrant atmosphere and warm Manitoba welcome, people excited to connect deeply and get involved. Read our stories!

There is no entrance fee for people joining our events. We also operate on a cost-recovery basis, so any money received through offering and donation goes directly to ministry expenses. Please do not substitute our ministry in place of your regular tithing for your home church. All members of Bread We Break serve as volunteers and are not employed by the ministry.

With our events held on Sundays, both the parkade next to and the street parking in front of The Meeting Place are free. However, neither Bread We Break nor TMP can be held liable for any damages incurred.

"When we eat the bread that we break, isn’t that sharing in the body of Christ? By sharing in the same loaf of bread, we become one body, even though there are many of us."

1 Corinthians 10:16b-17
