MISSION & VISION
Our Mission, the ministry's unchanging call since we began:
Our Vision, the current strategy in pursuit of the Mission:
"When we eat the bread that we break, isn’t that sharing in the body of Christ? By sharing in the same loaf of bread, we become one body, even though there are many of us."
1 Corinthians 10:16b-17

WHO WE ARE
Got questions about the Bread We Break ministry? Hopefully we can answer a few of them below!
Bread We Break started in 2012 as a ministry of The Meeting Place, and is dedicated to providing a place of worship for Christians from all denominations. We have grown to connect 100+ churches, regularly represented by 500-800 young adults from Winnipeg and across Manitoba.
Our team plans events on a bimonthly basis, with the exception of a summer break. There are no seat reservations, however those who wish not to be photographed can find seating on the balcony where there is no photography. Flip through the set lists from previous events, and check out when the next event is!
USE OF FINANCES
There is no entrance fee for people joining our events. We also operate on a cost-recovery basis, so any money received through offering and donation goes directly to ministry expenses. Please do not substitute our ministry in place of your regular tithing for your home church. All members of Bread We Break serve as volunteers and are not employed by the ministry.
People of all ages are welcome to join us, however our events are geared towards the young adult community, loosely defined as people ages 18-30. You can expect a vibrant atmosphere and warm Manitoba welcome, people excited to connect deeply and get involved. Read our stories!
Our community depends on our volunteers, people willing to serve in ministry for the love of that involvement. Whether it's for greeting, prayer, communion, security, or media. If you would like to explore the opportunity to serve with our ministry please contact us and out Hospitality Coordinator will be intouch!
